Everyone who has driven on Boston’s Southeast Expressway knows the rainbow that splashes over the gas tank on Dorchester Bay. Corita Kent created this large work of public art in 1971, and it has been brightening drivers’ commutes views ever since. This view includes lively sailboats and many landmarks including UMass Boston, the Old Colony Yacht Club and the Kennedy Library. Prints are available here.
