Women’s Lunch Place (WLP) is a day shelter for women who are experiencing poverty, trauma and insecure housing. I volunteer at WLP several times a month, usually cooking meals, but I also teach art there. I worked with a guest, Lillian, to create this art called Peonies, which was used for the shelter’s Mother’s Day card campaign. Prints of this art are now available on my website and proceeds will benefit Women’s Lunch Place.
